Amazwi’s exhibitions, educational activities, tours and events aim to promote awareness and enjoyment of South Africa’s rich and diverse literary heritage − especially amongst future generations.

Education Programmes

Amazwi is a place where intergenerational dialogue about literature takes place. Our education section is very willing to enrich your experience at the museum and if you want a bespoke time at the museum, we can discuss with you and come up with something that will suit your needs. Seven (7) days advance booking is essential. Should you require Amazwi staff to present programmes off-site or to accompany educators and learners on excursions arranged by yourselves, fees will apply.
